BC Bike Race 2026

Details Announced for BC Bike Race 2026 as it Celebrates 20 Years of Stoke

Press Release: BC Bike Race
The legendary stage race returns for its final seven-day ride — and spots are almost gone.
The BC Bike Race is gearing up for a landmark 20th anniversary edition May 23-29, 2026, and it’s bringing a fresh wave of excitement to riders and fans alike. With the largest field of racers yet, a new date, a new direction, and a host of revitalized traditions, this year’s event promises to be the most memorable in BCBR history.
The 2026 edition of the Ultimate Singletrack Experience will have a brand-new route, a spring start, and a week-long send-off to the event’s classic seven-day format. It’s not the end of BCBR, it’s the start of the next chapter.
Riders who’ve been waiting to join the Ultimate Singletrack Experience should act fast; only a few spots remain for the 2026 edition.
Nearly Sold Out
Saying goodbye to the seven-day format has inspired riders from around the world to tick BCBR off their bucket list or make a long-overdue return. With just a few spots remaining, the 2026 race is set to be the biggest field ever, featuring the largest percentage of Canadians in BCBR history (45%), alongside athletes from over 30 countries, including the United States, still the second-largest contingent.
Prime Time for Singletrack
For the first time ever, BCBR drops into May, right in the heart of BC’s prime riding season. The coast is green, the trails are tacky, and the weather is ideal for long days in the saddle — the perfect time to showcase the world-class terrain of Vancouver Island.
