'Tis the season! Let's kick off the holidays with a hunt for the elusive candycanes of Cowichan, which will grow wild on Mount Tzouhalem on December 7th.
Upon checking in you will be given a map of candycane locations on the mountain. The first person to get back to the parking lot with a candycane from each location wins! You may take any route to pick up your candycanes (no going up Double D or other gravity trails...). There will be some strategizing involved to maximize efficiency. All trails will remain open to the public.
This event is family friendly. There is no pressure to ride any trail beyond your abilities. The shortest route will require approximately a 7km ride to complete.E-bikers welcome as well; we will have a category for you!
We will finish the day with a little parking lot BBQ, so bring a chair and some warm clothes.
